If you told me that a small group of soccer hooligans were going against a team of armed riot cops, I would probably place my bets on the riot cops. This video is the reason why I don’t gamble.

In it, a fight has broken out between riot cops and a group of football hooligans, who are barefoot for some reason. While the cops initially appear to be winning the fight, the tide soon turns, with the barefooted hooligans throwing hands and haymakers left and right.

Eventually, the hooligans manage to push the cops back, fighting through the batons and pepper spray to put up a formidable defense.

Let’s be clear, though: Even if you win this battle, you’re not going to win the war. No cop is going to be like, “Oh, you beat me? I guess you can stay in the stadium.” Still, it’s better than any drunken fight I’ve ever seen at a game — and definitely worth the price of admission.
