While most dogs bury their bones, this one-year-old cocker spaniel dug one up. The owner, Claire Robson, was horrified when her dog came running out of the bushes with a 10-inch dildo instead of the stick she threw for him. The owner was unsure at first what was between the dog's teeth, but she didn't expect a veiny sex toy.

"I thought it was a big bit of plastic rubbery pipe because it was bouncing around a bit," she said, "'He wouldn't come near because he'd found this treasure and he obviously thought it was great."

It took the dog owner 20 minutes to get the dog to drop the dildo because he thought she was playing with him. He was quite pleased with his find and didn't want to get rid of his new favorite toy.

Robson tried everything to get the dog to drop the dildo, but he was too excited. It wasn't until they got back to the car and the dog settled down did he drop it. Robson was able to get a pair of gloves on and dispose of the old sex toy.

"I didn’t want to touch it for hygiene [reasons] so I walked with him on the lead back to the van, and he jumped in his crate as usual. Once I’d taken the lead off, I gave him a treat, and he dropped it, so I quickly picked it up with a pair of gloves on and discarded it," the dog owner said.

"He was very pleased with himself. If it was any of the dogs in the pack it would have been Frankie that found it," she continued.

Seeing the humor, Robson snapped a couple of photos of her dog wrestling with his new toy.
