When they’re not starting on fire or parking in people’s front windows, Tesla vehicles can go fast. Like, really fast.
However, while a lot of cars claim they can go fast, there’s very rarely an opportunity to top out that speedometer and see just how dangerous you can get. If you want to do that, you’re going to need to head to Germany, where the country’s famous Autobahn offers adrenaline junkies a variety of fun and exciting ways to hit top speeds and narrowly avoid becoming pink mist after hitting unsuspecting Audis.
The YouTube channel AutoTopNL takes this idea to its extreme, bringing cars to the Autobahn and cranking them up to their highest level. Here’s what a Tesla Model S Plaid looks like doing just that:

According to people in the replies, this isn’t even as fast as the car could go — and yet it’s still certainly fast enough to make any unaware passenger quickly shit their pants.
That is obviously without the track package so the car is limited to 267 km/h in normal Plaid mode. He should have put the car into Track Mode which goes up to 280 km/h or just get the track package for the full 322 km/h (shows up to 328 km/h on speedometer)

Regardless, the video’s still pretty impressive. As summarized by Motor1, “[it’s a] 0-166 mph sprint in 14 seconds, though nearly all of the run is done in just 11 seconds.”
If you’re curious about the YouTuber’s full thoughts, you can watch the video here:
I personally never need to go 166 mph, but if you’re someone who does, the Tesla Model S Plaid is certainly an option. Also, it might be time to reconsider your life choices.
