A trip to the jailhouse turned into an impromptu meet and greet for one very lucky — and very handcuffed — Playboi Carti fan, who found himself face-to-face with the musician shortly after he was arrested for reckless driving in September 2022.
In the newly released police bodycam footage of the incident, Carti, like anyone caught allegedly driving 76 miles per hour above the speed limit, did his damnedest to talk his way out of his predicament, telling the Atlanta police officer that he was “rushing” due to a family “emergency.”
"Bro, you were driving 133 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone," the officer replied in one of two videos depicting the arrest uploaded to Raq Rarest this week.
After several moments of back and forth, the officer had enough, ultimately placing the rapper under arrest and transporting him to a local precinct.
Though Carti was clearly less-than-thrilled to be heading to jail, the same could not be said of an unidentified fan, who was able to put aside his apparent legal woes to rejoice in meeting his “favorite rapper in the world.”

“That is crazy,” he can be heard saying in Raq Request’s second video of the incident. “What the f—k brah!”
“God has got to be real,” he continued, a sentiment some fans have since dubbed the craziest thing anyone has ever said while sporting handcuffs.
Prison: Because Cameos are too damn expensive.
