They say you should never learn how the sausage is made, but they didn’t say anything about the teriyaki chicken bowl!

Talk to anyone who’s worked in the restaurant industry, and they’ll gladly tell you all of the ways that every single restaurant you’ve ever eaten at is irreparably disgusting. Yes, we have high enough safety standards that you don’t shit your pants off every time you eat outside the home, but many restaurants engage in practices that you *probably* don’t want to replicate in your home kitchen.

Case in point: this place, which was caught chopping meat on the sidewalk outside of a restaurant. But don’t worry, the restaurant owner says he was chopping meat for a non-restaurant related reason. I oddly believe him, though I’d still say his employee should lay off doing that at the restaurant, if only for PR reasons.
