See, you’re supposed to cut it *away* from the house.
Cutting down a tree is easy. Cutting it down in a way where you can actually control where it’s going to land is a little more difficult.
People train for a while to be able to properly chop down a tree, and in incidents where they can’t, it can become a painstaking process of slicing a tree down into parts before it can be properly removed.
Alternatively, if you’re these people, you could just start sawing away — and end up with a tree brand through your living room.
