Hooters has decided to sponsor an under-10 soccer team in Nottingham, UK and the parents are not happy. The restaurant announced on Wednesday that they will be sponsoring the Joyce Burton boys club.

Hooters is known around the world as a place to go to grab some wings, a beer, and ogle young women wearing tight white tank tops and orange short shorts. New employees even have to sign an agreement acknowledging the fact that Hooters' business model is selling "female sex appeal".

Parents and concerned citizens on Twitter have expressed their feelings about the tantalizing sponsorship.

Many feel it's inappropriate for a restaurant that's geared toward luring in adult men would sponsor a children's soccer team.

One parent said, "These lads are under 10. I very much doubt they are aware of the sexual attraction of women. Wrong on so many levels. Could’ve gone [with a] more appropriate age range."

"Why are Hooters sexualising kids and who on earth allowed them?" Another concerned parent added.

However, some are taking the stance that a sponsorship is a sponsorship and anything helps when it comes to organized sports for the youth.

"Wish my u10s team did the same," someone added.

The Hooters in Nottingham is the last UK branch of the restaurant chain. It was mentioned that they are trying to open a Liverpool branch and are currently hiring for all positions.

There's no telling what exciting thing they'll sponsor next.
