Earlier this month, a woman on an American Airlines flight accused a fellow passenger of “not being real,” and conspiracy theories of shapeshifters and other paranormal activity have been swirling ever since.

But while there was little video evidence of anything suspicious on that flight, a new video of a woman “stuck in time” on a street in England might show a real glitch in the matrix.

Posted by an anonymous TikTok account, the video shows a woman who appears to be frozen for over a minute, before continuing on as if nothing happened.

“She disconnected for a sec,” youlocaldogeater concluded.

Other viewers marveled at the complete stillness of her hair and clothing, even as cars moved through the background of the shot. “Sometimes I think we’ve slipped into a different dimension,” Windsor__Foodie said.

A number of different theories were posited for the peculiar behavior — that it was staged, that it was an epileptic episode, that it was versions of the aforementioned real-life glitch in the matrix. Personally, I think it’s the work of clever video editing.

The identity of the viral American Airlines passenger was never disclosed, and she has not been heard from since. But as with that clip, viewers of the “frozen woman” are desperate to hear what she has to say. “We need her perspective on this,” LAaaah begged.

Of course, even if she were willing to say something about her plight, she just might be too frozen to talk.
