The robots really are taking our jobs. While you could once expect a food delivery to come in the hands of an underpaid dude on a bicycle, a few cities have seen the arrival of “autonomous” robots that handle all the driving and delivering for them.

Are some of these robots actually just controlled by people in their parents’ basement or some dudes in Colombia? Maybe. But they look so cute! Many of them even look like they have little eyes! What an adorable end of civilization we’re living through.

All this said, the rise of the robots hasn’t come without issues. For example, some deviants discovered that autonomous vehicles in San Francisco could be stopped by putting a cone on the hood. So naturally, people did just that, frequently posting their stunts to TikTok. Now, another robot issue has gone viral — and it features Woody Harrelson for some reason.

In the video, two delivery robots can be seen at a standstill. “We have an Uber Eats robot standoff going on,” Woody Harrelson says, outside of his dispensary The Woods. “These two are, like, in some kind of, you know, quick-draw mode right now. I don’t even want to be in the middle of this! This is crazy!”

It’s almost certain that any issues with these robots will be worked out, and the robots and others like them are coming for pretty much every job on the planet (I bet those two Uber Eats robots would be great as Larry and Althea in The People vs. Larry Flynt). Until that happens, we can just laugh at all of their screw-ups — until they get sentient enough to punish us for doing so, of course.
