In Forrest Gump, in the opening scene of the movie, we can see the protagonist dressed in a stylish suit that contrasts with his dirty and worn-out sneakers. But this is not the only thing that catches the eye. If we take a closer look at the shoes, we can find a little slip from the film’s art team. The laces are completely clean and shiny, while the rest of the footwear is covered in mud. -

In Free Guy, the comedy starring Ryan Reynolds, we follow the story of a video game character who falls in love with the player who controls him. In the first scenes of the movie, we get to see this character’s routine and his world. In the scene where Guy is having breakfast, there’s a calendar just above his TV, but a detail that probably many people have overlooked is that the number four in the calendar is missing. -

In the movie Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, we follow the adventures of farmer Wallace and his dog, who face a mysterious being that intends to wipe out all the vegetable crops before one of the most important agricultural events of the year. In the sequel to the story of the most famous chipmunk detectives of all, Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers, we follow the lives of the characters from the ’90s series. There we learn that all the animated characters are, like people, simply actors who have a life of their own outside of the series they star in. In this film, there are several references to productions outside the Chipmunks universe, and there is one that particularly caught our attention. It turns out that Harry Potter’s Dobby, after culminating his role as a house elf, has made his way to the fashion industry and is now a Gucci model. -

In the Toy Story spin-off, Lightyear, released in 2022, we follow the adventures of the astronaut who inspired the creation of the space toy we see in Pixar’s 1995 animated classic. In one scene, an astronaut is buying something from a vending machine that sells snacks, sandwiches, and bottles of water. Upon closer inspection, we can read that the brand of the bottle of water is “Wade”. This is an Easter egg from Pixar’s new movie Elemental, where the main character will have that name. -

In the movie The Mask, starring Jim Carrey in 1994, in the scene where Milo helps Stanley escape after being arrested, we can see that the police officer guarding the cell is watching the cartoon show Ren and Stimpy, where, coincidentally, Stimpy is also arrested. -

In the third installment of the version of Spider-Man played by Tom Holland, we can see Mary Jane wearing a necklace. A small detail about this accessory is that it is the same one that Peter had given her some time before in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Mary Jane wears it even though, in this scene, she does not remember who Peter Parker is. -

In the movie Gunpowder Milkshake, released in 2021, we follow the story of Sam, who seeks to reunite with her mother after being cruelly separated from her in her childhood. In the scene where the protagonist is in the cafeteria, we can see a sandwich with the name Fight Club on the menu. This is a clear reference to the 1999 film that surely inspired the director when making this action film. -

In the second installment of Back to the Future, there’s a scene where Marty looks at the newspaper to find out what decade he’s living in. We can see that one of the headlines reads: “Washington prepares for Queen Diana’s visit,” which means that it was predicted that by 2015, Queen Elizabeth II would have already ceded the throne to her son Charles, and his separation from Princess Diana before marrying Camilla was not foreseen. -

In the detective drama Who Framed Roger Rabbit, there’s a scene where a character is reading the newspaper, and it shows a photograph of Jessica Rabbit. However, we can see that she looks somewhat different from how she appears later on screen. This is probably because the scene was edited with an early stage version of the character design that differs from the iconic Jessica we all remember. -

In the Disney movie Enchanted, in the scene where Prince Edward is looking for Giselle, he knocks on the door of a lady who has clearly stopped believing in fairy tales and any kind of Prince Charming. This woman is actually Judy Kuhn, the actress who lent her voice to play Pocahontas in the 1995 Disney film of the same name.
