Anyone who says "a job is a job" has clearly never worked a job that's put them in real danger.
I don't say this to dunk on people who work behind computers or desks (I'm one of them) but to point out that yes, working in customer service can stink, but hey, at least Starbucks baristas have never been stuck in an elevator shaft, or forced to work through dangerous storms.
So in honor of the men and women who truly put their bodies on the line, here are some people who work jobs so dangerous, that it's hard just looking at them.
