We’re pretty sure Alfred Hitchcock, John Carpenter and Cronenberg wouldn’t have careers if they started making movies while the internet was around. They’d have a pretty scary idea, start on the script, and then stumble upon some random post on r/creepy that is more hair-raising then anything they could put in a movie theater.

Decent AI images have been around for like, two years and it’s already gone way too far. One of these is a bald old witchy looking woman, hugging a giant spider like a lover? C’mon.

But robots haven’t put real people out of work in this field quite yet. There are still some regular, good old-fashioned pics taken by humans that clearly shouldn’t exist. A pile of used dentures being sold at a market, a man eating an undercooked goat head, giant prawns eating Doritos? It goes on and on, and it’ll keep you up all night.
