When a laid-off nurse decided to take a job at a new, better paying, and more competently run hospital, she thought she'd be leaving her old workplace behind her. That is until they reached back out, begging her to take back her old position, (along with its poor pay).
But while she initially thought they just needed more nurses, she soon discovered their rationale: a former ectopic pregnant co-worker taking them to court in a wrongful termination lawsuit.
"The hospital basically tried to bribe me with my old job so I wouldn't testify against them," she wrote on the r/antiwork subreddit. "Is it bad for me to be excited about the trial?"
