In fairness, he does have a point — who would ride a bike to an auto shop?

Some cities have rules requiring that new buildings have bike racks attached to them. While the theory behind this is, you know, fine, the actual implementation is pretty shitty. That’s because much of the U.S. just isn’t designed to cycle safely, and so, while you may be able to park your bike at your location, you’re probably going to get hit by a few cars along the way.
