Listen, I was pretty incredulous when I saw the initial news reports about a quadriplegic dude assaulting the cops. Of course, people in wheelchairs are just as capable as the rest of us at assaulting the police (that’s equality, people!), but given the cops’ tendency to lie about, well, everything, I was understandably a little skeptical of the idea of a dude without core motor function attacking the police.

Well, now the video has come out, and I’m a big enough man to admit that I was wrong — but I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy being incorrect. The video showing the assault is a beautiful thing, documenting the man being completely unhinged while also offering us some choice clips from across his music career.

What a beautiful country we live in.
