K-Pop Stars from BLACKPINK Caught Using the N-Word in Leaked Video
The classic “I was just singing along to rap music!” defense.
For those who didn’t grow up in the West, it can be a bit difficult to explain the concept of the N-word. In short, it can be a term of endearment amongst Black people, but if you’re not Black, saying it is a major no-no.
Still, you’d think that someone on BLACKPINK’s team would have told them that they shouldn’t have an answer to the question “Who was in Paris?”
In this leaked video, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé from BLACKPINK can be heard rapping along to popular songs, N-word included.
Sure, you can say “Oh, they’re from South Korea, they don’t understand the cultural implications of that word,” but while that works to a certain extent, it doesn’t account for the fact that Jennie grew up spending a fair bit of time in New Zealand and Rosé grew up in Australia.
Of course, they were pretty young when these videos were recorded, so let’s just hope they’ve learned the lesson that white Westerners learn at a young age: When rapping along, just awkwardly pause and mumble until the N-word passes.
Since the videos were taken down here is a whole compilation of Blackpink Jennie and Lisa saying the N-word repeatedly

It is worth mentioning that Jennie was born and raised in a westren country https://t.co/Ydt4z2uqo3 pic.twitter.com/QkRhTQMFeJ
