Don’t quit your day job, kid.

As a child, sports are fun, nothing more. At that tender young age, you just don’t have the heart for competition, and as a result, you make a lot of decisions that are probably better for your short-term enjoyment than the good of the team overall.

This kid was nearing home plate when he realized, “You know what would be fun right now? A somersault!” And so, he decided to tumble. Then, he did it again. And again, all while his parents screamed at him to get back on his feet and score.

I’m on the kid’s side here. You’ve got plenty of time in your life to suck at baseball; why not just enjoy a few somersaults while you can?
