Almost Every Single Car Wrecks After a Bit of Rain at Nascar Race

This weeks Nascar race at Daytona featured an absolutely massive crash that wiped out almost the entire field. With 23 laps to go, a spit of rain hit the Florida track, causing what was definitely "the big one." Not a single front running car was able to escape the power of the rain, and in the end it is Austin Dillon (who was in 16th place before the crash), who emerged from the chaos as the leader, and one of only a few drivers without a busted car.

While Nascar's super speedway tracks like Daytona and Talladega are known for producing "the big one," this big one is perhaps the most destructive in recent memory. In the end, Dillon would hold on for the win, qualifying him for the playoffs, although he had to fight hard for it once the crash, and mother nature, were cleared up a few hours later.
