Ha ha… But it won’t do that when we need it, right?

Last year, everybody understandably lost their minds once it was discovered that Boeing planes were made out of tinfoil and bubble gum. What got lost in that story is that their planes are still just as shitty as they were before, only now, we’re too busy focused on everything else in the world to care. Hey Boeing — I know you guys are currently implementing an improvement plan, but you don’t really need it! Everyone’s stopped paying attention!

In earnestness, one would be correct in being a *bit* worried about the state of American planes, even if flying is still leagues safer than driving. Numerous whistleblowers have called out the sorry state of our fleets, and during repairs, shit like this has been known to happen:
