There are some places that just do fireworks better than us. Okay, so maybe they’re not “better,” as they keep burning and killing people, but at the very least, you can say that there are certain countries that really go all-out with their fireworks.

This serves as a stark contrast to the United States, where an increasing number of municipalities are switching from fireworks to drone shows just because some dogs and people with PTSD lose their mind every time they hear a “kaboom.” Sorry about your flashbacks, buddy, but you’re gonna have to shut it — I want my kid to look at a pretty light while going momentarily deaf!

Over in Thailand, they have something called the “Girandola.” This is a massive firework that, as the video shows, does a spiral spin into the sky. Where does it go afterwards? Don’t think about it!
