Touching the Cybertruck While It’s Charging Might Kill You
If you currently own a Cybertruck and don’t have a deathwish, it might be time to get rid of it. In the months since its release, the controversial car has proven pretty shit at driving while also being incredibly effective at turning its drivers into a fine pink mist.
Now, a user on Instagram noticed another problem: the whole thing can conduct electricity from itself, leading to you getting a fairly nasty shock if you make the mistake of, I don’t know, touching it.
This user shows off what that looks like in practice — and before you say “120 volts isn’t that bad,” you’re right, but it can also definitely stop your heart, so I’d rather it not happen at all, okay?
As for why this is happening, it could be a problem with the car, or it could be an issue with the charger itself. Given everything else that’s wrong with the thing, I’m going to say it’s the car.
