It’s hard to commit robbery on an empty stomach.

In most cases, the motivations behind a robbery can be easy to figure out, primarily because it’s just money. Whether the criminal uses that money to feed themselves, to get drunk or buy Pokémon cards is up to them, but at the end of the day, the motivation for crime is cash in 99.99 percent of cases.

But 99.99 percent of cases is not *all* cases. In fact, sometimes, all a thief wants is a belly full of gelato, as this local shop recently learned.
