We hope you're having a corn-tastic day. (that's a corn pun) It's corn! Might just be the most popular two words on the internet. The adorable video of a young boy ecstatic about eating a cob of corn has taken over people's feeds. But at what cost?

Tariq aka, 'Corn Kid' appeared in a Recess Therapy video hosted by Julian Shapiro-Barnum, who goes around New York playgrounds interviewing kids, (it sounds creepier than it is) when he stumbled upon the boy who loves corn more than anything else in the world.

Since the video was published, Tariq has collaborated with Chipotle, started his own Cameo, and released a song with Recess Therapy titled, 'It's Corn' of course. But we can't help but feel bad for him.

In a world that demands all great things, memes, and trends are bled to death, we hope Tariq for one, doesn't get taken advantage of, but mostly we hope his love for corn can be preserved for years to come.
