Woman Gets Ticket for ‘Unlawful Camping’ After She Goes Into Labor on the Street
Ma’am, you can’t give birth here.
When you’re pregnant, you really have no idea when the baby is going to decide to pop out of you. While there’s a general “nine month” rule, once you hit month eight, the likelihood that your baby suddenly decides “now is my moment!” skyrockets.
This woman had previously been cited for illegal street camping, only this time, things were a little different. That’s because she says the only reason she was on the street in the first place is because she was waiting for an ambulance — because she just went into labor.
Nevertheless, the police cited her for illegal camping again.
Thanks, officer, I’ll be sure to go into labor somewhere else next time!
